12/12/2004 03:53 PM | Hi, I've lived here in Tx for 3yrs driving an SUV.
Originally from the UK I've previously driven stylish
sports cars. I've not really enjoyed driving this large
Merc. SUV ....I feel like I'm an old woman before my time
(although I'm getting a bit past my sell by date..lol)
jogging about in this big clumsy looking vehicle...nothing
stylish for me about SUV's! My 3 yr lease is up and I am
looking at leasing a sports car again although my (Texan)
husband is rather against it as he says the trucks on the
roads are so much larger here than in the UK he feels I'd
be safer in another SUV or at least a larger 4 door sedan.
I wondered what your thoughts are on this and what
percentge of the members drive these SUV gas guzzlers!
