12/17/2006 11:07 AM | We just bought a new car last night. We did all the research
and were ready to negotiate. Got the dealer to give us a
"out the door price" on the car -- unfortunately the whole
process took so long that by the time we were ready to sign
the paperwork, my husband had a migrane, my 2 year old was
having a melt down and we signed the contract without
double checking the numbers [foolishly assumed that the
numbers we agreed to would be listed]. When we got home and
sat down and looked over the mounds of paperwork,we
discovered that they had added on $2,995 for "other" fees.
Is there anything we can do at this point? We feel like
complete idiots and this huge error on our part makes me
want to cry.
