change to the Cosworth-built Chevy Gen IV engine mid
season, developed and paid for by Ford by the way.
Especially when the Toyota and Honda engines are not
allowed to be modified in the course of the season.

09/17/2003 11:15 AM | This reminds me of when I was a kid and my Mom forced me to
include my little brother in soccer games with my friends.
He wasn't really at our level yet, plus some of my friends
didn't like his attitude. But once we all just shut up and
did what Mom told us, he got better and better, eventually
becoming a force I was glad to have on my side. Sometimes
we get too caught up in what's 'fair' and forget that we're
all just out for a good time. Having said that, I do think
Chevy is a big enough company that they should be able to
foot the bill for their own engine program. It's not like
they're Daewoo or something! |
