Posted on: 02/19/2006 03:15 PM | After more than 40 years buying cars at one time or another,
I realize the stress involved in making a big ticket
purchase like a car... especially when a car NEVER
appreciates in value UNLESS it becomes a classic.
Before dropping 10's of thousands of dollars, don't you
think it wise to take the time to educate yourself? Yes,
it takes a little time and effort. But, don't you feel
more confident if you at least have a basic understanding
of the car buying process?
Besides, if you go in educated, the salesman will realize
you're no chump and won't waste time spinning your wheels
as much as if you had no clue.
Hey, I have nothing against car salesmen or dealers. They
have to make a living, too. It's just that I don't want
them to make their entire living off my purchase.
There are plenty of resources thanks to the internet.
Check some out before that next car purchase.
