Lines of CTS are bold and sharp but clean with unique forms marked by angular shapes and crisp edges that combine in a package looking like no other car. In a cabin crafted for five passengers, the exterior theme of chiseled forms and angular features is expressed in monochromatic treatment that's definitely contemporary. All CTS sedans for North America draw from a V6 produced by General Motors in England. It displaces 3.2 liters and makes 220 hp. Standard transmission is a manual five-speed by Germany's Getrag. Also available is a four-speed automatic out of a GM plant in France. Three issues segment by tone through equipment and suspension tuning. The base edition and one with luxury gear skew toward the plush end of motoring, while CTS with a sport package has firm suspension settings and StabiliTrak controls.
