Pontiac is due to introduce a new two-seat sports car bound for the Class of 2006. It's called Solstice and, despite exotic styling that usually implies a mega-bucks price tag, this airy roadster will actually be affordable.

Solstice rides on GM's new rear-wheel-drive (RWD) Kappa architecture, stocks independent suspension components designed to deliver sporty handling traits, and pulls from a 2.4-liter EcoTec four-cylinder engine with 170 hp.
