The 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche Crew Cab Pickup Truck (MSRP: $37,385.00 - $41,725.00, Invoice price: $34,283.78 - $37,700.68) is available in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels. The Avalanche competes with the Cadillac Escalade, Dodge Ram Ford F-150 SuperCrew, Lincoln Mark LT, Nissan Titan and the Toyota Tundra. The Chevrolet Avalanche was first introduced in 2002.1 It is currently assembled in Silao, Mexico.
All trim levels are available with a 310-horsepower (4WD) or 320-horsepower (RWD), 5.3-liter V8 engine and four-speed automatic transmission. This model is available with either a rear-wheel or four-wheel drive system.
The 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche has front independent suspension, front and rear stabilizer bar, short and long arm front suspension, and multi-link rear suspension.

The ride and handling of the Avalanche is as good as it gets on a Chevrolet truck. Changing the configuration from truck to SUV was easy as pie and self-explanatory.
