The 2008 Dodge Magnum fullsize wagon (MSRP: $24,120 - $38,805, Invoice price: $22,543 - $36,195) is available in Base, SXT, R/T, and SRT-8 trim levels. This model competes with the Audi A6 Avant, BMW 5 Series wagon, Chevrolet HHR, Chrysler Pacifica, Ford Taurus X, Mercedes Benz E-Class wagon, Saab 9-5 SportWagon, Volkswagen Passat wagon, and Volvo V70. Buyers can choose from a 190-horsepower, 2.7-liter V6 engine, a 250-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 engine, a 340-horsepower, 5.7-liter V8 engine, and a 425-horsepower, 6.1-liter V8 engine. It comes with a four-speed automatic transmission, and a rear-wheel drive system. A five-speed shiftable automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system (with mechanical center differential) are also available.

This fullsize wagon is currently assembled in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The Magnum was on Car and Driver's Ten Best list for 2005.1
