The 2008 Ford Expedition full-size Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) is available in XLT (MSRP $30,620 - $33,520), Eddie Bauer (MSRP $35,865 - $38,765), Limited (MSRP $38,025 - $40,925), and King Ranch (MSRP $39,965 - $42,865) trim levels. The Ford Expedition was introduced in 1997 and is currently in its third generation. It slots between the smaller Ford Explorer, and the now discontinued and larger Ford Excursion.1 All Expeditions are assembled in Wayne, Michigan.

Ford Expedition fullsize Sport Utility Vehicle competes with the Acura MDX, Audi Q7, BMW X5, Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe, Chrysler Aspen, GMC Acadia, HUMMER H3, Infiniti QX56, Lincoln Navigator, Nissan Armada, and Toyota Sequoia. All trim levels are equipped with a 300-horsepower, 5.4-liter V8 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Buyers may choose from a rear-wheel drive (RWD) or 4-wheel drive (4WD) system for each of the trim levels.

More features on the Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer trim levels include 6-disc CD player, 340 watts stereo output, 7 total speakers, 1 subwoofer, 3 third row headrests, and turn signal mirrors.

Alternative/additional features on the Limited and King Ranch trim levels include 18 x 8.5 inch chrome alloy wheels, power-opening rear quarter windows, premium leather upholstery, and a 10-way power passenger seat. These also have multi-level heating driver and passenger seats, passenger seat with power adjustable lumbar support, and a height-adjustable passenger seat. More features on the Ford Expedition Limited and King Ranch trim levels include height-adjustable pedals, a universal remote transmitter, power retractable mirrors, leather and wood steering wheel, and rear parking sensors.

Alternative/additional features available only on the King Ranch trim levels include a simulated wood trim on shift knob and dash, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather and simulated wood trim on center console, and leather and simulated wood trim on doors.
