The roads outside of Traverse City are wonderful for test drives. The countryside is magnificent, green, and uniquely spectacular for early fall drives when the days are still hot, and long, but not humid. To locals, I suppose, that forewarns of snow and winter weather. But for us it provided several, carefree days to focus on the new Ford Freestar.
