1999 Chevrolet Blazer...Continued
Transmission: All four-wheel-drive models of the Blazer come standard with GM's Insta-Trac shift-on-the-fly 4WD system, or can be equipped with the new-for-'99 AutoTrac pushbutton electronic transfer case. AutoTrac automatically senses wheel slippage and sends power to the axle with the most traction. A manual transmission is available on two-door Blazers only. A four-speed automatic overdrive transmission is standard on all models. The TrailBlazer test vehicle was equipped with an automatic transmission and the AutoTrac system.

We Looked At:
Roominess And Comfort: There is a definite feeling of spaciousness in the TrailBlazer, although, as with most compact SUVs, two are more comfortable than three in the back seat. The driver and front passenger enjoy plenty of headroom, legroom and shoulder room, as well as multi-adjustable power seats. Soft, pliable leather seating increases the comfort level for all in this luxury edition of the Chevrolet Blazer.
