This well-equipped car is a good value in Daewoo's price range of $11,000 to $14,000. There was a complete exterior overhaul that added more stylish headlights and like the Lanos, the Nubira comes with standard ABS, air conditioning, and power door locks and windows. With one of the few low cost wagons on the market, the Nubira will be a good alternative to used cars for young families. Daewoo is smart to settle on a distinctive styling that is eye-catching and readily identifiable.

Student Campus Advisors had marketed Daewoo Motors of America (DMA) products while attending school. DMA initially sent over 2,000 student trainees to Korea this summer. Now economic conditions have caused them to take on hundreds of dealer franchises that will insure that buyers are not going to be far from an official outlet.

There is a nationwide road service plan. Daewoo is contracting with certified garages in non-covered areas, a scheme that even major companies use.
